Ford 7�" Ring Gear, 10 Bolt Differential Cover

This rear end differential cover fits many Ford Rangers and and other Ford vehicles with a 7�" ring gear. Some common applications are:

Bronco II, 1985-1990
Ranger with 4 cylinder 2.9 or 3.0 engine, 1989 and newer
Mustang, 1982-1986
This cover may also fit some Aerostar vans, Grand Marquis cars, and Thunderbirds. Some of cars and trucks may have the larger Ford 8.8 differential, which is more square in shape. Please check before ordering. Check out our Ford 8.8 diff cover for pictures and more info on those applications.

This rear end differential cover fits many Ford cars, trucks and vans. Some common applications are:

Bronco, within in-line 6 302, 351 engines, 1987-1996
Crown Vics, 1982-2005 (these may also have Ford 7� differentials)
Explorer, 1991-2001
F150, 1980-1996
F150 with 4.2 V6 or 4.6, 1997-2003 (5.4 engines have the 9� differential and need PML part nubmer 9594)
E150, 1992 and newer

Note to Expedition owners: this cover may be too deep to clear the track bar that runs behind the differential cover. Using the dimensions available below, please check your vehicle for clearance before purchasing this cover.

This Ford rear end cover features a drain hole for easier, less messy maintenance. To fill, use the factory location which is on the driveshaft side of the third member.

Ford Sterling 9�" Ring Gear 12 Bolt Differential Cover

This rear end differential cover fits many Ford trucks and SUVs. Some common applications for the Ford 9� differential are:

F150, 4.6 or 5.4 engine, 2003 and newer
F150, 1997-2003, 5.4 engine (other engine sizes from 1997-2003, please see PML Ford 8.8 diff cover)
Navigator, 1995-2006 can use this cover or the Ford 8.8 diff cover so check before ordering
Lightning, 1999-2004 (clearance is very tight so use dimensions provided with link below to before ordering)

This rear differential covers fit the Sterling rear end found on:

These covers have holes for drain and fill. A boss on side optionally can be machined for a temperature sensor for an additional cost. Call to order machining and let us know your sensor thread size. The level check hole for this differential is provided by Ford and is located on the driveshaft side of the differential housing.

This Dana 44 differential cover features fill/level check hole, a drain hole, fins and aluminum construction for to dissipate heat. The fins have the traditional straight fin design and the shape of the cover has the same shape as the stock cover. These aftermarket covers have thick walls and gasket flanges to add strength to the differential housing and to provide a uniform clamping force on the gasket surface for a secure seal.

Do no use this cover on GM front ends.

Our extra capacity Dana 44 cover has a different shape, size, fin design, and 0.25 qts over stock capacity.

DANA 50/60 FRONT, 10 BOLT, 2005 & NEWER FORDS & DODGES

The PML Dana 50/60 front differential cover fits 1999 and newer Super Duty Fords and 94-02 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 vehicles.

On the Ford trucks, this diff cover is slightly deeper than the stock covers. This part is shallower than our Dana 60, 70 rear cover (P/N 9426) for more steering linkage clearance.

For Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 vehicles, please check the cover dimensions and look at your trackbar bracket before ordering. If your stock cover has a vent fitting (instead of having a vent on the differential housing), this differential cover cannot be used.

PML has discontinued an older version of this cover, P/N 9866, which fits 99-04 Super Duty Fords. We do still have 1 polished 9866 cover in stock. This is in our Specials section. It is slightly different in shape.

For 1997 and older F250/350 trucks, neither P/N 9866 or 10737 will clear the ring gear. Our standard Dana 60, 70 (P/N 9426) rear cover will clear the ring gear but you will need to check your vehicle for steering linkage clearance with this deeper cover.

This diff cover has drain and fill/level check holes.
