Ford 4R44E, 4R55E, 5R55E A4LD Deep Transmission Pan

This extra capacity transmission pan fits 2WD and 4WD vehicles with the 4R55E, 5R55E, 4R44E, and A4LD transmissions. These 4 and 5 speed transmissions are found in 1985 to 2001 Ford Rangers and Explorers.
On a 2WD vehicle, you must use the 4WD filter.

Please check your vehicle to be sure there is enough room to allow our pan to clear your exhaust system. Some customers with the 4.0 V6 have had contact with the catalytic converters or resonators that are located along side or in front of the transmission pan.

This pan features internal baffles to reduce sloshing.

Ford AOD, AODE, 4R70E 4R70W, 4R75E, 4R75W Low Profile Transmission Pan

This transmission pan fits 1981 and newer 2WD & 4WD Ford vehicles with automatic overdrive transmissions such as Mustang, Thunderbird, F150, Expedition and Lincoln Mark VII.

On applications where the exhaust is routed close to the passenger side of the trans pan (Mustang and some others), please check to be sure there is room for the drain plug boss. The drain plug is on the passenger side of the pan, and it’s boss sticks out almost as far as the gasket flange.

A Ford reusable gasket should not be used with this pan. An aftermarket flat gasket is recommended and should be available in any auto parts store.

Filter requirements for this pan:

AOD – must use 2WD AOD filter. 4WD filter wil not fit.
AODE, 4R70, 4R75 – must use 2WD AODE filter. 4WD AODE and all 4R70 filters will not fit.

The design of this transmission pan has been revised to allow it to work with the Ford reusable gasket. You can also use any aftermarket gasket that is designed to work with the stock pan.

Ford C4 Deep Transmission Pan

This C4 extra capacity transmission pan fits 1965-1981 Ford vehicles with the case fill C4 transmission such as Mustang, Bronco, Falcon, Pinto, and Maverick.

This pan also includes a filter extension. This extension can only be used with 1970 or newer transmissions and requires the purchase of a filter from an early 4WD Bronco. 1969 and older transmissions will use their stock filter without the extension.

Ford E4OD, 4R100 2WD & 4WD Deep Transmission Pan

This PML tranny pan for Ford vehicles fits 1989-2004 Ford 2WD and 4WD with the E4OD or 4R100 transmission. Typical applications are:

F250, F350, F450, F550 and F150 Lightning trucks
Some full size Broncos
Excursion
E250 (5.4 V8), E350, E450 vans and motorhomes
Lincoln Navigator
If you have a 460 V8 and a "Banks Power Pack" kit or an Excursion with a V10, please check carefully for clearance between the exhaust and the transmission pan.
Excursion owners: This pan will clear the frame cross member. If you have a 4WD, you may need to loosen the rear trans mount bolts and jack up the transfer case slightly to ease access to the bolts along the back of the pan.

If you have a 6.0 diesel, or a 2005 or newer vehicle you'll need a TorqShift pan instead of this one.

Volume: 3.0 qts. over stock for 4WD, 3.5 qts. over stock for 2WD

Ford TorqShift Deep Transmission Pan

PML designed this deep pan to help the TorqShift transmission better handle the high stresses of towing and hauling. It fits the 5R110 automatic transmission used in the F250, F350, F450, F550, E350, and E450 with these engines:

2003-2007 with 6.0 Power Stroke diesel
2005-2007 with 5.4 V8 and 6.8 V10
Ford has made some changes in the stock pan and filter for 2008. If you have an external spin-on transmission oil filter near the bell housing, this pan will work. If you do not have this external filter, do not order this pan. PML is designing a new pan to suit the new larger internal filter used in the applications without an external filter.

This pan has two possible locations for a temperature sensor. There is a boss on the driver's side (visible on the right side of the as-cast image) and there is a boss on the passenger's side opposite the drain hole. These do not come machined.
FORD C6 LOW PROFILE

PML's stock capacity transmission pan for Ford C6 transmissions has a low profile for full size 1960's and 1970's cars. PML also makes an extra capacity Ford C6 transmission pan. The deep pan provides provides extra fluid for F250 and F350 trucks which have more room for a larger pan. A lower profile pan can accomodate more applications and provide the strength and cooling benefits of an cast aluminum transmission pan.
FORD 5R110 TORQSHIFT DEEP 2008 AND NEWER

This extra capacity deep pan helps the TorqShift 5R110 transmission better handle the high stresses of towing and hauling. PML designed this new pan to accomodate the large internal filter that Ford introduced in 2008. It fits Ford Super Duty F250, F350, F450, F550, E350, and E450 with these engines:

2008 and newer with 6.0 Power Stroke diesel with internal transmission oil filter
2008 and newer with 5.4 V8 and 6.8 V10 with internal transmission oil filter
For the 5R110 TorqShift, Ford added a new style of transmission pan and filter in 2008. The new style has a larger transmission pan and a filter that is internal, located inside the pan. 2008 and newer vehicles can have either the "new style" transmission pan with an internal filter or the "old style" pan with an external filter. Most F350 trucks seem to have the "new style" while most F250s have the "old style" pan. Please check which you have before ordering.

2007 and older vehicles have the external filter and use our external filter 5R110 TorqShift transmission pan.
